Our business choses two charities a year to support, one local charity and one national charity.

This year’s local charity is Dreamboats. We chose them because they are raising funds to support accessibility for all on the river. The charity has big plans to make it even more accessible in the future for disabled people.

Fundraising in today’s climate is difficult, with a global pandemic, war in Europe and a cost of living crisis to contend with.

Dreamboats have been busy raising funds by hiring out kayaks, rowing boats and paddle boards to the public, so they can enjoy the river stour at Wimborne without having to own any equipment. All profits from the hire go directly to the charity.

Our part in this journey was to provide marketing services, this included building them an easy to use website so that customers can pre-book boat hire online. The booking system ties into a Google Calendar so the boatman can see who’s booked in for the day.

We’re also involved in advert design, social media management and promotional flyers being used at the Wimborne Folk Festival.
