Dreamboats Wimborne is a local charity focused on improving accessibility on the River Stour, giving disabled people the opportunity to enjoy time on the water. The charity relies on income from public boat hire, so the website needed to make bookings simple while clearly communicating the purpose behind the service.
We designed and built a WordPress website centred around an easy to use online booking system. Visitors can pre book kayak, rowing boat, and paddle board hire quickly, with availability managed through a Google Calendar integration to support the boat team on the day. This helped reduce admin and ensured bookings could be handled smoothly during busy periods.
Alongside the website, we provided ongoing marketing support to help raise awareness of the charity and its work. This included advert design, social media content, and promotional flyers for events such as the Wimborne Folk Festival, helping Dreamboats reach a wider local audience and encourage community involvement.
The result is a practical, user friendly website supported by clear marketing activity. It makes it easier for people to book, supports fundraising through hire income, and helps Dreamboats continue their work of making the river accessible to everyone.
