An independent pub group managing multiple venues needed a better way to control and update their websites. The goal was to bring several pub sites under one consistent system, while still allowing each venue to retain its own identity and character.
We built a centralised WordPress platform that allowed all pub websites to share a consistent structure and design approach. To maintain visual consistency across the group, the same photographer was used at each location, ensuring imagery felt cohesive while still reflecting the individuality of each pub.
A key requirement was simplifying day to day updates. We implemented a custom menu management system using popups and structured file management, allowing menus and specials to be updated with a single upload. This removed the need for page edits or technical knowledge and enabled pub managers to make changes quickly with minimal training.
The websites were integrated with ResDiary for table bookings and Google Maps to clearly present locations and directions. A group landing page was also created to act as a central hub, with each pub domain pointing to the group site before directing visitors to the relevant venue pages.
The result is a flexible, easy to manage website system that supports multiple pubs, reduces admin time, and provides a consistent experience for customers across the group while allowing each venue to stand out.
