The Medal Hanger Shop is an established eCommerce retailer with a busy online store. The existing website, built several years earlier, needed a refresh to improve performance, usability, and search visibility while continuing to support high order volumes.
The project focused on modernising the site design and improving the technical foundations of the store. Speed, mobile usability, and search friendliness were prioritised, with a cleaner layout and clearer calls to action introduced to guide users through the buying process more effectively.
Alongside the website refresh, the business was expanding its sales channels through platforms such as Amazon using fulfilment services. This made it even more important that the website remained fast, reliable, and well optimised, particularly during peak trading periods.
We rebuilt the site using WordPress and WooCommerce with a custom theme, improving performance and making ongoing content and product management easier. The site was optimised for speed and stability, achieving strong performance scores and delivering a smoother experience across all devices. Remarketing was also integrated to support repeat visits and customer retention.
